In addition to the Long Island Talking Book Library collection of over 90,000 recorded fiction and nonfiction
books for leisure reading, nine
public libraries in Suffolk County have rotating LITBL
browsing collections for talking book readers in their communities. In
addition, most of these libraries have commercially produced books on tape for their residents.
