Print-Braille
Books for Children |
Long Island Talking Book Library has a small collection
of print-braille books (sometimes called "twin
vision books") for children. These books include the regular
print edition of the book with braille overlays. They can be used
by blind parents with sighted children, or sighted parents with
blind children, or blind and sighted children together. They may
also be used by sighted children who want to see what their favorite
books look like in braille. In addition, LITBL has a special collection
of tactile print-braille picture books
for young blind children, and of Expectations,
an annual braille anthology of current children's literature.
Print-braille books, tactile print-braille picture books, and
