Although Long Island Talking Book Library does not lend
musical recordings, they are readily available from most public libraries
on Long Island, as well as commercial sources.
Scores, instructional
materials, etc. in special formats:
Registered Long Island Talking Book Library readers
can borrow materials about music - including scores, instructional
materials, biographies, etc. - in braille, large print, and audio
formats, from the National Library Service for the Blind and
Physically Handicapped (NLS). A fact sheet about this service is available.
