If you are a registered Long Island Talking Book Library reader and your talking book cassette player is malfunctioning, you may exchange it for a working unit at your local public library. Please be sure (1) to call the library in advance to make sure its back-up talking book equipment is available, and (2) to bring your broken machine with you to exchange. The libraries are not permitted to lend the equipment except on an exchange basis. For addresses, telephone numbers, maps, and links, go to the Suffolk or Nassau County public library list.
